Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition
It was a tremendous honour to have my photographic work exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum, one of the world’s leading institutions for art and design. The installation brought the series together in a dedicated gallery space, allowing the photographs to be experienced collectively and at full scale within the museum setting.
Seeing the finished exhibition for the first time — the prints installed, illuminated, and in dialogue with the architecture of the gallery — was an unforgettable moment. To have the work presented within the V&A and given its own room remains a milestone in my practice and a deeply meaningful professional achievement.
I am sincerely grateful to the installation team at the V&A and to Riposte for their expertise, care, and collaboration in realising the exhibition. My thanks also go to everyone featured in the photographs, and to all who visited the show and engaged with the work.
Documentation images show the installation prior to opening, along with closing photographs by Hydar Dewachi.
