Art Direction, design and illustration of the Key Art for the west end transfer of the National Theatre production of Standing at The Sky's Edge. With music by Richard Hawley and direction by Robert Hastie the musical tells the story of different lives over a span of 50 years in a brutalist apartment block in Sheffield. The artwork was designed with the idea of using these multitude of stories contained within the apartment block as a whole while also being able to zoom in on the windows and uncover a small scene taking place within the artwork so a number of window illustrations were created to sit within the larger building image set against a Sheffield skyline. The artwork was also updated to be sued as a gatefold vinyl art for the cast recording, cd cover and even a small batch of Standing At The Sky's Edge Pale Ale beers.
