“I've been social distancing for a bit over a week. 
As a performer and workshop facilitator, I've seen all my work for the coming months, all the exciting projects I was looking forward to cancelling one by one. 
2020 is determined not to be the year we expected, it seems. I'm worried about family, my dad is very unwell and it's difficult not being able to see him, and my mum is on her own. 
I'm not sure what the future holds, but for now I'm finding a sense of purpose by helping out with my local mutual aid group and food bank, and I'm enjoying this new rhythm of waking up early and feeling refreshed because I haven't been working late. 
The novelty of finding... pleasurable... ways to keep myself entertained and healthy during all this time we have on our hands hasn't worn off yet!”
