“I’ve been a painter, working alone in my studio most of my life so in many ways isolation is very familiar to me. When I started performing live a few years ago I discovered how much I need people. A performer needs an audience; I want to look deep into your eyes and hold your hand and take you on a journey into my imagination. To feel seen and understood by a live audience fills my heart with love and I just don’t get that performing for a virtual audience.
