Social Distancing #38

London, UK, April, 2020 .
I was in the middle of an exciting tour with a band when the pandemic hit and we got our shows cancelled day by day not knowing in the morning if we would play at night. These weeks until the full cancellation where very stressful. Given that i have to prepare myself very carefully to swallow swords.
Then came the fall from everything to nothing.
After being labelled vulnerable by the government i had to make so many changes to my living situation that only now in the 4th week of self isolation I am finally starting to accept what’s happening and that this will be my life probably much longer than for others who are healthier.
I am practising self love and compassion as I believe these are 2 of the most important ways to create positive energy for the world and for yourself l.
Right now everything I identified with only 6 weeks ago seems totally irrelevant. I now believe that my life will be changed forever after this crisis has passed. I am embracing the unknown that is coming towards me. I am ready and until I know more I keep practicing yoga and cuddle my cat.” -MisSa Blue
