“In the initial stages of lock down I was overwhelmed with how chaos was being normalised. The selfless Vs The selfish, in all its garish glory. 
Also, like many artists, witnessing the foundation of a career, built over decades of sacrifice and perseverance, crumbling underneath one's feet? Just felt utterly broken and helpless. 
However I'll hold a forever love for my peers in cabaret for hoicking me out of the low imagination slump . It's humbling to witness how resourceful and innovative some artists have become : translating live performance into an accessible, inclusive digital format. 
Fire has been reignited within, devising and tailoring work to contribute towards this new art movement.
Artists are needed more than ever but we're back to the drawing board.
So, optimism, hope and innovation needs to be the dominant force and fuel in new our life choices.” - Coco Deville
